    It looks great but I would sautéed in a little avocado oil, I feel like oil helps retain some flavor while water steams it out. I am new to exploring veganism and agree, nutritional yeast could be a winner add.

    Sauteing the veg in even a tsp of oil does add flavor, along with seasoning at each stage, so I'm sure that made a difference. But I'm kale-challenged and after seeing you make it, it's definitely a recipe I would try with a tiny bit of oil so thanks very much for the demo.
