My Southern ancestors are turning in their graves, lolol. With the fluffly yellow corn meal; and the bouncy soft nature, it looks like a dessert, not real cornbread.

I bake mine in cast iron. Heat it in oven at 400 when it comes out I butter it
I add hot peppers cheeses and gr onions sometimes add corn niblets
Pour batter into sizzling pan. It browns and sides bottom get really crispy and browned

I'd bet that a cast iron pan and the oven would provide the best results, based on history (millions of mothers, grand-mothers, and great-grandmothers). Still, an interesting video!

Nice Breck! I'm really glad to try to the second time with the adjustments. It turned out looking great and the texture seem to be fine, but I think that the doubled recipe just needed more time. I don't know, but thanks a lot for giving it another world!
