Isn’t it a waste of money to use flakey finishing salt to mix into a liquid? Its all going to dissolve anyways. Why not just use cheaper table salt or kosher salt?

Buttermilk is made with whole fat milk and adding lemon juice, letting it sit for 20 mins or so , mix it all up once curdled and walla buttermilk, don’t know what this is
