Great meals Stacy! Looks like you both had a great holiday. We stayed in New Orleans when we came to the USA last time and also did a plantation tour in Memphis! I'm really missing being able to travel! Happy day from Sally, Les and the fur crew! ๐Ÿ˜Šโ™ฅ๏ธโ™ฅ๏ธ

Did the plantation tours include anything about their history of slavery and abuse towards black Americans? Quite interesting that you didn't mention anything about that…

Hey guys! We really enjoyed hearing about your vacation. It looked relaxing and fun! We went to Natchitoches for a day trip when we were dating back in college and loved it! We especially enjoyed seeing the filming locations from Steel Magnolias and would like to go back some day. We also visited a plantation there, called Melrose. Your food all looked scrumptious, and we were drooling over that hot fudge sundae. Yum! ๐Ÿจ Glad yโ€™all enjoyed your trip! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Your various dipping sauces have inspired me. Iโ€™ve been mixing mayonnaise, brown mustard, and dill pickle relish for a sandwich spread. Hope you enjoyed your vacation!

What beautiful places you were able to visit! The Haumas House was impressive. The next place with all the oaks reminded me of Boone Hall Plantation (scenes from North and the South filmed there). I took pictures there when our sons were maybe 10 and 12 & I will treasure those forever. Glad you all were able to get away & boy, the food looked good!

What an awesome trip! Youโ€™ve got me hankering fried okra now! One of my favorites ๐Ÿคค Hoping Iโ€™ll find it down in SC- the grocery stores in CT havenโ€™t had in years. Glad Tim got some golf rounds in, despite the bad greens on the one. โ˜บ๏ธ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿผโ€โ™‚๏ธ
