Those cauli oatmeal things are nasty 🤢 😂. Great tips! I never thought about the go go squeeze but those would be awesome for day hikes! Have you ever thought about taking dates as snacks? They are great with PB and easy to carry. We carry them often on day hikes. Great info!! Thank you 🙏

Wow. Nice. Well thought out. Informative. Gonna have to check out a few of the items you mentioned. The whole food thing is almost as subjective and personal as every other part of this crazy hobby/game/way of life/pastime thingy. As an older hiker, I tend to carry three meals a day. I like to have dinner close to dusk to help with the wind down mode. Some days I eat heavy. Some days I eat light. Some days I forget to eat. No worries since I have at least ten pounds of stored fat right behind my belly button. Water and enough of it is quite important to me. The combined weight of packaging is uncanny. It adds up fast and is a fair percentage of carried food weight. Nice vid. Thanks for sharing'. Keep 'em comin'. Peace, ~RL
