Well it has been a long time since we did a What I Eat in a Day video, but this one has some great throw together meals. Tim joins me and its the usual shenanigans. Leave a comment below on how the 21 day challenge went for you and if you are doing the Mini with us. – Joey
I love Plantyou!! Everything I’ve made is great. It’s been on sale lately
Just watched another one of your videos probably from one or two years ago that said you were doing intermittent fasting starting your first meal at 12:00 noon. You have changed that up now? What are the benefits of eating different than intermittent fasting for you? I typically don't eat anything no calories whatsoever until afternoon and I'm kind of lenient on exactly what time but only thing I do have is water and black coffee.
For me I find sometimes when I eat I get tired and I actually have more energy with less food or no food in my body anyways I'm sure it works different for different people thanks for your videos..
Great video so far! I see you're adding this Costco no salt seasoning blend and I've heard other people talk about this at Costco's and my Costco unfortunately never has it. Do you know anywhere else that has a good blend with the big quantity like that?
I'm still looking for the link for the cookbooks. Amazon has a ton of plant based cookbook but none with dads or you as the author
I love polenta and have actually been thinking about making it for the last few days. This video is like a sign that I really need to make it, haha. Thank you for another great video!
I haven't had polenta for a long time. Thanks for reminding me that I should make some soon!
Also thanks for the cookbook recommendations.
I grew up on Cream of Wheat-can’t wait to try polenta! And savory too! Date sugar, can’t wait to try that as well. Thank you for sharing 💚
I see no link for cookbooks
I love grits & now I'm going to have to try your recipe for Polenta
Looks delicious 😋 Also I'm curious about your Hot Plate can you tell me the Brand or where you ordered it from Plz TY 😊
You two! I could say I come for the delicious food but really, I think it's because of you two fine, loving, funny guys. Lex is lucky to have you as parents. Thank you for sharing your lives–and food–with us!
I started eating polenta when you did the corn mini. Now I’m hooked & prefer it to oatmeal.
My husband and I look forward to Tuesday mornings, because we have a cup of coffee and watch The Dad's! You are one of our favorite YouTubers! Please keep up the great work!❤️

I love polenta! I do it a little bit differently. I start with cold water and stir polenta right in. Then I turn on the heat. I don't stir it all that often so that I can do other things in the kitchen. I add the nooch and the milk at the end. I use the same proportions as you. I add 1/2 – 1 teaspoon of turmeric and some black pepper. The polenta takes on a beautiful golden color. I am going to try the Kirkland seasoning with this.
I’ve never tried polenta before. That looks sooo good. Thanks, I needed new breakfast ideas! I don’t know why you guys don’t have more subscribers. Your recipes are amazing, and your channel is entertaining and always fresh. Thanks for all you do. ❤
“Really Tim? …Really?” 😂😂😂😂😂
I have the bread cookbook, but your looks like a nicer updated version! Also I got Plant you over the summer, I’m really enjoying it so far, I think you’ll love it!
Loved the what I eat in a day all day format, beginning with Joey just out of bed and ending with Tim's go big, or go home, but not that dang sweet potato today Joey! lol😁
I make polenta often. I make it without the savory spices and add bananas and apples for a breakfast dish, and then with the Costco seasoning and nooch the way you did for a savory side dish. So much tastes good on a bed of polenta! I bought the Plant You cookbook at Costco and really like it. Have a great day and thanks for your channel!
Is eating the polenta for breakfast sort of like eating grits?
