I've never heard of doing ice water in hummus! Is it supposed to aid in the texture? I don't use tahini (not because I don't like it, but because I just never have it), but I use some of the aquafaba in mine to make it really creamy!

I heard about the ice water helping to make the hummus creamier 🤔.
Your wee one looks so cute when you put her ear muffler on, fabulous idea 💡 blenders are noisy contraptions.
The potato flakes that someone suggested for the gravy was a great idea. I can’t get Bob’s Red Mill stuff in shops, I have to try to source it online. We’re in the Dark Ages over here 😤😤

I have some of your breakfast slice in my freezer, absolutely delicious 😋

it amazes me when people get their panties in a bunch about certain items used. It's an INDIVIDUAL preference – like you said, leave it out if you are at a different place in your journey! relax people. I come for the food but I STAY for Hazel – she's adorable!!

PRODUCTION NOTE: You'll need to adjust your sound volumes on future videos. If we turn up our sound to hear your opening talk, then you BLAST through when your recipe portion comes on. I love your videos. Keep up the good work.

I so enjoy these videos. Thank you! My next hummus will be your Buffalo recipe. I consider the tahini optional as you suggest. But I love seeing what works for you and your family. Thank you!

Hi, have been enjoying your videos, thank you. Don't feel the need to justify tahini. I understand oil free is a great way to lose weight but we still need healthy fats for our body's to function, and also helps us feel full. I feel so much better allowing myself small portions of nuts, seeds and avocados!

Hi Courtney, loved your video today, got lots of great ideas. I wanted to give you one I use for my gravy, instead of flour, I use Bob’s Redmill’s dehydrated potatoes, they thicken the gravy without needing to cook it, and gluten free for people who don’t use flour. I haven’t added mushroom powder before, I’m gonna try that!
