In Germany the groceries prices for local and organic foods are decent. I am glad I do not have to worry about the prices but I feel its so unfair that feeding a family healthy foods is less affordable than feeding crap. We call ourselves "developed countries" but in most "third world countries" its the other way around. Vegetables, fish, fruits are inexpensive there and locals mainly get unhealthy from OUR western foods. Smh.
    Thanks for your video sis!

To make life easier and still stay close to whole 30 why not have a Meatless Monday and a Taco Tuesday. Less having to think, economical, and pantry & whole 30 friendly. Portion size will also help stretch resources but can be painful too. Lol. Wednesday Bowl? Or let’s go bowling on Wednesday, to make it cute and fun. Just to get you through.

In reference to chicken wings, I live in New Jersey and I shop at Meat City in Piscataway NJ, I get 40 pounds of chicken wings and I pay $35.00; no big wings, nice size. I got them for Memorial Day to cook on the grill next weekend. This store is clean and well stocked.

I went to the store yesterday and a pack of bacon was almost $10. I left it and found other meat cheaper. It's normally what I do too. Sometimes it's hard when you really want a specific cut of meat but it's to high to buy, You change your cooking habits and hopefully catch it on sale. In the past I've cooked chicken and used the broth to make soup or dressing and de-boned the meat for something else. Used a steak because roast was too high and cook it with potatoes and carrots. Use tuna instead of salmon or mackerel. We've even had friends who hunt or fish and buy either deer, fish, rabbit, or squirrel to feed my family. Where there's a will there's a way and the Lord always provided for us. Truly grateful.

There is something so peaceful about watching you cook. For one thing that I appreciate is that you are so clean with your kitchen and preparations. I am the same way. And you are so real with your situation about your finances. Prices and shortages are one thing here (south Mississippi). Do you find that Piggly Wiggly is good on meat prices? I don't usually shop at ours but might need to.

Maybe find someone you can split a bulk meat order with , also when you are off work go to the grocery store in the early morning when they mark meat down!! Sometimes I am following the guy around as he’s marking it down! I will stalk for a deal!! lol !! I also sometimes look at the grocery store at the meat tags and see the sell by date and try to make it back to the grocery store in the morning the day before that’s when it’s gonna get marked down!! I have a lot of luck doing that! It’s extremely hard when you are working! It’s about to be summer vacation so you may have some more time to hunt them deals!!

I am concerned about many things these days. One thing I decided to do is fill up at the half tank rather than when close to empty. I don't drive nearly the miles you do, so I can do this once every 5 days or so.
