Ok you advertise dry beans but then tell us to soak them for 4 hours

I'm gonna make a dry bean recipe with beans I've soaked for four hours.
Also smash some beans on side of pot to thicken sauce.
Kick it up a notch and cook all spices in with meat. A chef taught me this.
