👋 Hi! I'm new and have been watching your channel a couple weeks. I'm not at all a prepper but am really enjoying seeing what you find. Am thinking of better stocking just my regular pantry, especially for the stuff I use when baking/making from scratch.

The best thing I've found in the last couple of years is a rotary shredder. I don't buy shredded cheese anymore. I get blocks, it takes 10 seconds to shred the whole block. It's fresher, tastes better and way cheaper, most times. Highly recommend!

I used to meal plan all the time when my children were younger. But now me and my youngest daughter live with my parents. It's so hard to plan meals when my mother wants something different, my daughter wants something else different. Me and my dad pretty much eat anything. But I Love meal plans. I just dislike having to cook three different things and sides to please everyone. But I love your videos! And I love your recipes ☺️ I am able to make a lot of recipes you share with us but also I have to freeze Alot too. Thank you so much for posting this video and your grocery store adventures with us. I know we all appreciate it very much ☺️

Wow such great deals! Another YouTuber did a budget challenge video & bought kielbasa for $1.22. I could not find kielbasa less than $4.14 at the 2 stores in our town Walmart & Safeway. Someone mentioned in the comments they bought kielbasa for $1.25 at Dollar Tree. The DT is our town does not have refrigerated section but a town 22 miles away does. After driving the 22 miles(44 round trip) I still can not find kielbasa at the DT.

I’m going to buy the chicken thighs at Kroger next trip, I purchased a pack of them at Sam’s but pieced the dinner amount in storage bags & I wasn’t happy with the way they freeze!

I've had 2 cans of that same canned beef in my pantry for a while now, but still haven't thought of any ideas of what to make with it. If you have any suggestions, I'd love to hear them.

I couldn’t read what type of allergy medicine you purchased but generic Claritin or Zyrtec is a GREAT deal at sams. Usually a years worth for the cost of a month everywhere else.

I live in the Midwest. Nothing is on sale anymore! Nothing is marked down anywhere. It’s crazy! We just have to do the best we can at this point and pray our garden produces this year! We plan to check out the farmers in our area to help them out as well us. Prices go up weekly by us. Rice was $1.34 a pkg. at Walmart today! Needed it to complete a dinner.

I saw somebody with that bone in skin on thighs. They made chicken broth with the bones and they took the skinand cut it into strips. They fried them in a skillet and made little crispy fried skins for a snack or on top of a casserole. At least it wouldn't be wasted! ❤️🤷‍♀️

Chicken thigh bones are very small. I would agree that on chicken breasts it may not worth it to buy bone in unless you save the bones for broth, which I do. My Aldi now sells boneless thighs for $3.89 a pound and bone in for $1.49 a pound. I promise there's not $2 worth of bones in that pack. Prices are different everywhere but for me and where I live, bone in is the much better value. I wish I could find smoked sausage for less than $3. That used to be such a go to item for me but now it's just stupid expensive everywhere.
