Every time my order is a little late I always get a box from Walmart
I love the variety of food you buy and love your menu. We eat the same bread as you do. I’m going to buy some rice cakes today. I forgot how good they are for a snack. I never heard of white asparagus. I learn something new from you all the time.

I have an airline ticket to Charlotte, NC leaving Friday morning. Today all flights are cancelled due to ice at DFW. I sure hope my flight leaves on Friday so I can go to my grandsons baptism. Fingers crossed and prayers.

Hi, I thought you might like to know some facts about the white asparagus, since it is the "regular" here in Germany.
You can keep it only 2 days in the fridge, you have to peel it, cut the ends off and cook longer than the green asparagus.
If you cook it in boiling water then add some salt and a bit of sugar. Maybe sugar-substitute works as well.
We eat it in May when it is in season here. With melted butter or sauce hollandaise. Served with potatoes and ham. It is DELICIOUS 🙂
I have never seen purple or orange cauliflower here. Great meal plan!
