F*ck. We all know "champurado" is mexican. And this is just a rice porridge. Ube is just like a sweet potato but purple in color. Near taro also. In the philippines, they use either a commercial ube-flavored condensed milk can, or fake ube flavoring, or white yam added with food coloring. Yup. This is def NOT filipino. It's just rice pudding. You take leftover rice, boil it like thiccc congee, add sugar, evaporated milk or milk, flavor of your choice. That's it. Nothing special. Way to use leftover bottom burnt rice in the philippines. Cover it up with sugar & flavoring. Voila! You can now overcharge for what was last night's garbage.
Looks delicious
