It’s supposed to have a natural release!
Thanks for the video. But OMG, you make the InstaPot sound like a BOMB! My friend and I were watching this and now he's terrified of using a pressure cooker. I'm sure you guys know how to operate a vehicle without killing anyone. Well, the InstantPot (and all modern pressure cookers) are much safer to operate than a car. Let's not try to scare people away please.
Steel cut soup????
Is that guy, you know, slow?
Couple of things…. allowing it to naturally release the pressure for about 10 minutes, will allow the oatmeal to soak up more liquid. THEN open, stir, and then go make your coffee, get some added goods to put in your bowl, and allow it to cool a smidge and soak up even MORE liquid. It does make a difference.
Isn't it called an Instant Pot? Haha!
