Hi Maria……re the great white platter…..I have one which came from England with my family in 1915. It was already an antique handed down through my Mother's family. An antique's assessor deems it to be around 225 yrs old! It gets used twice a year on our dinner table and is still in near perfect condition, no chips or cracks at all. With even minimal care those white platters just keep going and going!
