Keebler makes fudge stripes that are similar to the thanks-a-lots but with additional chocolate on top! I like the storebrand version better (not sure if walmart or aldi version) because it is thinner and snappier texture. Perfect for milk dipping.

Ugh, I always feel like those poor girls are being exploited when the adults take them around to sell those cookies. Very tiny amount of actual profit goes to the troop. Maybe it would be better just to write a check to the troop if you want to support the other things the Girl Scouts do. Having kids sell cookies is not very high on the list.

When I was a girlscout we sold from LBB, but I feel lucky to live in a place with ABC bakers because they have several vegan options! My favourites are the thanks-a-lots, though my local girlscout troupe told me theyre being discontinued this year 😔

I wonder what Emmy does with all those cookies after trying them out. Does she keep them and slowly munch on them or does she give them away to someone else?

First time I've heard the adjective "short" that way. Interesting. I like that. I think we may get LBB out here (link to map seems to be dead, though). The ABC thin mints look better. My faves are Tagalongs.

Actually, if you need a girl scout fix, find your local office because they usually have them outside of the season. Support the girl scouts all year round! 😁 They don’t sell from the office during cookie season. I used to work across the street from our local office and my office would send me over to get the goods!!

Im a keebler grasshoppers fanatic. They taste like thin mints tasted in the memories of my childhood!

I do wish they were dark chocolate coated, but the texture and concentration of mintiness feels right. Current thin mints are weirdly soft and crumble like dust!
