Something I plan to start doing on this channel is a thing I call “recipe sequencing”. This is where I will take a leftover ingredient, …
I know this sounds weird…but I put I dipped your crispy pizza chafel recipe into it. I was originally dipping it in Pesto…then the "ding ding ding" went off….it was SO good!!
love this!
Okay, now I need to make the scallion sauce. I saw JP's super easy dressing last year and loved it.
Just picked up the fish sauce and ingredients today, now I’m even MORE eager to make that sauce! Thanks for the additional ideas! 😋
I ordered the shrimp skewers today….just what I’ve been waiting for! I can’t wait to make Vietnamese sauce!
That scallion sauce is the bomb💣. I made a big batch and put it on a lot of stuff. Delicious! Thanks for the recipe and these follow up ideas.😊
I love this recipe sequencing idea! 😍
This sounds really good for egg salad because either commercial egg salad or what I make always seems like something is missing.
The expressions you make after taking a bite of something tasty are priceless. Those buns look amazing…
I tried another cream dressing recipe that was a bit more complicated recently and it was okay. I will have to try yours. Possibly grate sweet onion into it. Maybe. I am on a mission to expand my homemade salad dressing this summer. So far the line up is expanding nicely. And these suggestions are EXACTLY what I need and similar to a very usual approach that I use. I often put a bit of Thai red curry paste in my basic dressing, or gochujang. I usually bring the salad to family dinners. The non vegetable eaters eat it and have questions later. Like how did I get them to eat that. And like it lol
👍👍👍👍👍 – clever. Thanks for sharing.
That scallion sauce is amazing. I also wanted to tell you I ordered those cheesecake protein bars because if your review. They were delivered so fast! Shared the orange one with my husband and even he liked it. Yeah!!!!!!
My new favorite thing is sous vide tri tip with your scallion sauce. OMG. Keep the good ideas coming
What about the recipe for the Bundt cake behind you?
THIS sauce is the first recipe I have made in my life that tastes "professional", as in I will be proud to serve this. Sorry, but I won't credit you….. "just a little something I threw together"
50+ hours into a 72hr fast…..watching this was a mistake…..lol…..tummy grumbling now…
Excellent ideas ! Recipe sequencing sounds great to me.
This is the most exciting video ever!
When I was a kid, my mother used to make herself a garden salad with a can of tuna, a little olive oil and a few shots of fish sauce. I asked to try it one day and could not believe how good it was! 35 years later, I still make my salads with fish sauce. It is such an amazing ingredient if you can get the ratios right so that you don't get too strong a taste of it.
I thought of mixing the sauce with sour cream and putting it on a low carb baked potato. Hmmm, I think there's a flaw somewhere in that idea. 🤔
I used it to cook an omelette. I heated some of the scallion oil with some unflavored oil(or butter) until the scallions started sizzling then I cooked my omelette like normal. Yummy
🍽
Excellent information, Steve, went immediately to the store when you gave us the recipe, no ginger, no scallions will try again this weekend.😥
I am so hungry right now. I think I will try it but using an onion as I don't have any scallions.
The bun looked good!!!! 🤷♂️😉
Always a 👍 for your videos!
Hi Steve❗️I have lots of chives in my garden, but no scallions. Do you think I could substitute the chives? And include flowers too?

OMG, I'm so happy you're going to do follow up videos for left overs and left over ingredients! So many times I'll have a left over egg yolk, egg white or some other item that I don't want to waste but never sure on the fly what to do with said Ingredients.
I wanted to reach out to you because I knew you'd be the perfect person for this. Just didn't know how to get the idea over to you.
Maybe you could plan a menu for the week and spawn off other recipes from the left overs/ingredients.
This is going to be awesome! TY!
🎉😁
It's really great on pulled pork too.
This would be a great condiment on some pancakes or chaffles.
This is what I needed in my life! I've been wanting some unxious type of dressing for sandwiches! 😋
Gonna love these ideas on using leftovers. Thumbs up
