This looks fantastic. I'm about 20 miles from the grocery store and I'm getting a new cast iron Dutch oven being delivered today. I will use chicken breasts, add a bit more jalepeno and spice to adjust for the taco meat he used. I havent any hominy so I will sub some rice for it.
I think it will still work very well.

That is an excellent looking version of chicken tortilla soup. The corn and hominy certainly up the ante. I'll also add some lime when I make this (this weekend hopefully) or use chili lime corn chips. Thanks for sharing.
Can you can this? If so, could you let me know how? It has chicken, so I know it would have to be pressure canned, but not sure how long and would you cook the soup all the way first, or just half way since it will continue to cook while being canned? Just checking, because soups like this are really nice on those cold days and when I don't have the time to prep and cook it. Thanks
