Made this last night with a few changes just based on what ingredients I had on hand (and quadrupled the bird's eye chilies) and it came out fantastic! Has all the flavours I remember from my father's Trini macaroni pie as a kid but it's got a lot more to it too!

Made this with turkey bacon – and it was amazing and the measurements were perfect, thanks!!! The bacon + breadcrumbs on top make ALL THE DIFFERENCE!!

Wow. This is the first recipe that is close to the one I was taught growing up. Have modified it a bit since and was just curious how others make theirs. Might try the bacon one day.
