This is like 10% Filipino food…I bet you 99% of Filipinos haven't even tried Wagyu beef lol including myself. Filipino inspired but not really a Filipino restaurant.

I love Filipino food! I've spent time in the Philippines and had eaten the best traditional dishes and also many street style food.
The presentation here looks great, but the ingredients are way more Euro-Asian fusion than Filipino.
But if the food tasted Filipino yummy good, that's all that matters… unfortunately I won't find out since I can't afford to eat at a Michelin star cafe lol!

Looks amazing but is that really Filipino food? Russian caviar, Japanese wagyu, Chinese and Japanese mushrooms, European smoked salmon? Middle eastern flatbread? French honey cheese truffle croissant? Looks delicious but seems like a weird claim that it's Filipino.

No wonder it is michelin starred, its not real filipino food. I dont care if our filipino restaurant is not michelin starred, but i want real filipino food. What makes that into a lumpia when they used vietnamese rice paper? That is a vietnamese wrap, not a lumpia during the first few minutes of the video, and don't even get me started with their take on the pancit and adobo.

Whenever I see a new video of his he looks older and fatter. Dunno if married life suits him and his teachings. He looks horrible.

I get it, he is Chinese, pretty sure his family forced him to settle, but I just dont see it.

Those massive plates for those small bites, I don't know if they are trying to make it seem worth it for your buck.

Just reminds me of how people say guys with "small packages" like to drive big cars.

Still a small dish and the bigger plate only make it look smaller.

It is more fusion than Filipino food.
If you like to taste authentic Pinoy food, there are several in California area.
But the way you ate it, and the presentation is really superb๐Ÿ‘

Honestly just to hear him describe the food and how it was presented was very extravagant and every bit of gourmet. However I'm sorry for whoever's going to read this comment, but I swear to God it look nothing more than a Japanese Filipino fusion. With heavy on the Japanese. I praise them to get a Michelin star, cuz it's very difficult to get one, however I did not see Filipino food here.

Congrats, Kasama! Not all of those dishes felt right, coming from a Filipino that grew up on Lola's cooking, but they all looked delicious and they definitely weren't afraid to try out new things and really bring a gourmet feeling to Filipino food, reaching new people that might not have tried it before.

That giant beef pot at the end had me squealing, it was practically ALIVE with how much it was boiling. XD Looked great, and hope you didn't burn your tongue/throat/mouth!

Thanks so much for always making my meal times a bit more delicious by watching it with you, Mikey. ^^

Their traditional versions are already good but their glorified fusion versions looks really good and elegant. Itโ€™s a must try for every Filipino who wants to judge it themselves

Itโ€™s not the typical filipino food if you see caviar, japanese wagyu beef, squid ink pasta in the menu. Dishes look good but I was hoping it to be more traditional in terms of flavor and ingredients.
