Man, you should really use already boiling water if possibile. I always cook one pot pasta because I'm lazy ( and I'm italian by the way ) but cold water is good choice. The exterior will became mushy… Try put the water first, get to boil and then put the pasta in. Have a nice cooking!

So I paused when he said you need 80-100lbs of Parmesan. I went to the store to get a 90 lbs wheel. I come home hit play and it was a joke. What am I to do with all this cheese?

I’ll roll it down the side of a mountain. That’s what I’ll do.

afterwards he made a call … something about "Persona bersaglio Joshua Weissman"

I started teaching my 4 kids to cook at a young age so they could cook/eat at their dad's house. We found your channel and we love to watch your videos together. I bought your cookbook and pre-ordered your new cookbook for my 14 year-old son that loves experimenting in the kitchen. Thank you for making such great videos the whole family can watch!

"the Italians don't deserve this today" proceeds to add garlic and no black pepper to Carbonara
Also heavy cream is no bueno in Carbonara and the like, but it's totally fine in many traditional recipes like scampi risotto, cream tortellini, etc.
And there is a number of traditional Italian dishes that are "one pot" pasta eg. the numerous "pasta risottata" (pasta cooked like risotto- in broth) and ones like spaghetti all'assassina.
