Oh, I am so happy for you for those great supplies Gerry brought home. I know you will make good use of them, Tiffany! Are any of your chickens for meat eventually? That bread and dinner looks so delicious. (:

I saw on one homestead channel that they save their egg shells and wash them out and let them dry and then feed them to their chickens. It gives them calcium they need for stronger shells when they lay their own eggs.

Do you freeze your flour to kill any eggs/ criiters that may be inside? I put in containers in deep freezer for 7 days. Whole wheat I store in freezer or fridge because it will go rancid and taste like old oil (gross) .

You can make your own syrup, you got to build a tap for those trees and you can use jugs to to catch the syrup. You got to do it now before the trees dry up for the season. The syrup will be clear when you collect it from the trees you have to cook it and reduce it and you will have home made syrup. You also can canning jars to can the syrup.

Have you ever heard of feeding chickens scrambled eggs?? Now I know absolutely nothing about raising chickens. But awhile back I was watching a YouTube video and a lady was feeding scrambled eggs to her chickens, and they were gobbling it up!! I just thought that was a little bit weird lol 😜.

Happy Thursday Tiffany!! Another great video. Evie wearing her Halloween shirt when it's almost Easter too funny. Hubby and I were just talking it's snowing where his dad and brother live and we're here in Southwest Tennessee having to mow the lawn and watch out for the tornados. This weather has been so crazy!! Kermit looks like he's enjoying life. Glad y'all rescued him. Supper looked delicious. I'm definitely going to try that French bread recipe. Have a great day and week. See y'all tomorrow.
