I have a instant pot duo pro mini 3l /3q It's slightly different to yours. It's been a game changer the first few times I used saute I wasn't impressed then realised I could make it hotter by pressing the saute button again hope this helps someone 💜 I'm using good ole veg marg for my crumbles to. Just to add you can buy the air fryer lid now on its own x

    A great video this week.
We came back from Portugal a holiday that was booked 3 years ago due to covid. Lovely time away.
Now we are back its rolling up our sleeves dusting off the pressure cooker, using the slow cooker and the air fryer. Plus I shall re watch some of your old videos to re cap.
And I found myself thinking hmm beef stew next weekend for sure. Its that time of year for creamy mash, crumbles and stews. Thanks for the video.

Watching the video a second time! Was wondering if you had nearby farms that allow people to pick the produce and buy it. At this time of the year a popular activity here is visiting apple, pear or plum orchards and later in the fall farms that sell various types of squash. Great outing and lots of savings.

Great! You're video had me salivating! I love that you find very sensible and frugal ways to feed your family in our present crisis. I went grocery shopping a few days ago, and it seemed to me that the grocery prices had gone up 30 percent in 2 weeks. I've already paired down, and I will be further simplifying in 2 weeks. Thank you for your content. Blessings! Miko in Maryland, USA

I'd like to share…. was walking past a good local butchers who was advertising a selection of meats for £30. I gave them a call and asked if they would do a smaller version for me as I live on my own. The butcher agreed to make one up for me for £'15 – wow I've got all sorts from chicken to beef to pork in different forms and sausages what a selection !!!
It will.last me for a full.month all for the sake of a phone call.

I have been watching your channel and loving the content.
Could you please tell me what cut of beef (in French) you used so that I can try and find it here in the Val d’Oise.
Thanks and looking forward to the next video

We did not have a working stove or oven for over a year a couple of decades ago. We used an electric boiling pot and a toaster oven without a problem. It is amazing what you can do when you think outside the box.🤗👏

Hi Jane and Mike, great video as usual. Never made crumble like that, but I certainly will in future. So little mess and just a bowl and a fork! Jane, can I ask please, what make is your mini oven? Friends have just purchased a Ninja mini oven, but it’s quite expensive. Thanks for sharing x

I love my Instant Pot but I’m still learning and experimenting with mine! I’m finding the “official” recipes generally give a longer time than necessary and I tend to read the real people’s comments and take timings from there! Cooking cheaper cuts of meat in stews etc have been my biggest successes so far! Love your butter comment to the food snobs! Glad you’re in my corner Jane!

Inspired by you I bought a mini oven that is also an air fryer and has a rotisserie, $150 Australian! So far we've done pizza, fish, and made a rotisseried BBQ chicken, it is so versatile. I love your idea of serving up the extra meals instead of putting the extras in a container -I'll try that as I think it will stop any waste. Thks Jane.

I like the idea of an instant pot. I was hesitating because I have no space to store it, but if it cooks rice, that may be a game changer. My existing rice cooker is on its last legs so if I get the instant pot it can maybe replace the rice cooker. I will look into it. Thank you for the video!

I think my Instant Pot is one of the most wonderful inventions for the kitchen. I love mine. Of course butter is wonderful, but you use what you can. I stock up and freeze when its on sale. I did have to go for a little while without any dairy, because of a medication I was on, so I used a butter alternative which just happened to be vegan. I was grateful that I had that during that time. Everything you made looks delicious. Your meal would make me VERY happy ! Thanks for sharing. 🥰🍃🍂🍁💕✝

Very nice meal for 2 for 2 days at a low cost. With some good recipes in your repertoire, you can fairly easily eat well on a budget! Well done! I love my Instant Pot too! Really useful. I have a toaster oven, which I don't think is the same as what you have, but I can broil and bake small things in it. Good for a one person meal. Thanks for your video as always!

Your gravy looks so delicious. I’m going to re-watch the video of you making that gravy. I love cinnamon so I out have put some in your crumble topping. I also add chopped walnuts to my crumble topping.

Thank you for this great video. We are going to look for an instant pot soon!. I've always baked with Irish butter but the price is scandalous and still rising so time for a change… its been a great help to me to see you making your crumble with the vegetable butter as I now have the confidence to try it myself. We have plums, apples and blackberries, ready to harvest in the garden so the timing is perfect. My arthritic hands are really sore when baking my usual way so I'll use your method this time. William, my lovely brother, and I love your channel. We've had a very difficult year but since coming home after 5 months in hospital your videos have become a lifeline. I am learning so much and as the dread and despair I felt at the loss of my health, mobility, strength and stamina fades I feel my can do attitude returning. Budgeting properly….. has eased the anxiety of unexpected early retirement, and the panic of no longer being able to earn amid the cost of living crisis. With your help I am looking forward again. Thank you so much love vera
