Where I live we know this bread as Navajo taco, they use refried beans, ground meat, top it with lettuce tomatoes and cheese, with picante sauce, oh and donโt forget the sour cream!! so yummy ๐

I just made these Sunday for family and friends. I lived in northern AZ in the 70"s / 80's we called them Navajo tacos, they were popular. Hardly see them at restaurants anymore. Rarely does somebody know what they are. Navajo tacos are due for comeback. I am glad you made the video.

I grew up on my mothers fry bread. Yours look really good. Pro tip…Cut or tear the fry bread into small pieces and then top it and eat with a fork.
