Maybe do a with and without for tasting cause few times they didn’t taste the product but it might be more clearer if they had a base without
Cut your hair Barry, you melt. lol
I'm gonna need all of these recipes 😍
I happen to have a small avocado tree in my kitchen (hiding from frost ) that I grew from a seed. Perhaps a show about what is easy to grow in house or on a balcony would be fun
Finally white people tried Black Stone Flower lol. Its a kind of Fungi which is edible and goes very well with any red meat cooking. And it is not just used in South India, it is a delicacy in North Indian goat cooking.
I know we already repped Japan here with the yam noodles (which are a classic for hotpots, perfect for picking up broth flavor when it would be wasted otherwise), but one of the most transcendent experiences I ever had was in Kyoto having simple, freshly fried tempura with matcha salt on top and no dipping sauce in sight. Does that count as another ingredient? The key is that it has to be FRESHLY fried, light and fluffy with a crunch–you can't really take time to adjust cameras or keep on deck for a little. It's gotta be fresh from strainer to table, salt right before you bite.
I'm from Puerto Rico and know that Sorted was there a couple years ago, it's a shame that they didnt get to try Breadfruit! It's application can vary from simply boiling it like a potato, or even mashing and frying it (my favorite way to eat them) like mashed fried plantain.
West African food!! Yay 🎉 y'all should make Jollof rice. I use a teaspoon of dried shrimp in that (but the one that's already blended into a powder).
Shiritaki noodles have been a staple of my kitchen cupboards for a few years now. They're so low in calories that they're perfect for getting that pasta/noodle fix when you're cutting body fat.
Brilliant! Can I get these in my local tesco? or… Delicatessan only in major cities… F*ck off rich English pricks. Unsubbed
Next time you gotta tried biltong powder, or mopani worms for an African dish
You should do Bunny Chow if you want to do South African food.
Shito from ghana!!! Eat it with kenkey!!!
I definitely would want Ben’s nudes……… I mean Ben’s noods. This noodle is popular in south East Asian cuisine as well.
the answer if you can't tell what is making restaurant food better – it's always butter, lard, or salt. Always.
Does Barry have cancer? He looks Really unwell 😥
Don't let your memes be dreams! I now know how it feels to spit coffee out your nose. Thank you Jamie!
I would love to use the smoked salt shrimp in place of the normal salt shrimp to make kimchi
You guys should try huitlacoche ☺️
I love how they one normal who lost his "spices" badge decides to throw shade at someone who didn't
gayest episode ever
Barry’s hair has gotten disgusting
Maybe should have tried one dish with and one without to show the difference. Didn't really seem to standout in this one dish way.
Hey Guys! I have been following you guys for some time now! Here is an idea for you: a series (or episode) around kitchen gadgets. I have been thinking where you are given a gadget and have to use it creatively. I would be curious to see a chef and normals take on how they could really utilize a specific gadget!
You should try Buah Keluak nuts. They are traditionally used in a peranakan dish called Ayam Buah Keluak. They are interesting, because they are poisonous when they are not fermented.
I would describe them tasting somewhat chocolaty and bitter (I personally don't like them 😅).
They would definitely make for an interesting ingredient in the next episode.
If you do another, then try kama from Estonia
