Healthcare isn’t the same as it was even 5 years ago… I’m not sure if I had it to do over if I would go into health care. I miss when hospital were run by people with medical backgrounds instead of MBAs like now.

I worked as an LPN for 25 years, ending my career at retirement. I spent the last year on medication due to anxiety that had my hair falling out. I tried to get out of nursing but the answer was always…we can't pay you what nursing pays. I hated almost every minute. They say it's a noble profession or a highly respected one. But then you get into it and see how employers, doctors, and families treat you. I would highly discourage anyone from pursuing it. I don't believe we have a nursing shortage in this country…we have a shortage of nurses who are willing to put up with the abuse we take.

I am Bipolar which is Very complicated. I call it a “medication cocktail” that my doctor balances and changes occasionally. God made the experts, but we hv to be in charge of our mental health.

In my younger years as a nurse, I can remember having so many patients and few nurses to give the care they needed. It was money I needed to help take care of my family that kept me going and a prayer for God to help me keep going. I am in my late 70s now with time to reflect.

I have driving anxiety. I'm fine once I get to where I'm going, happy even. Then, I have to drive home. One time in a flood I had to drive through 12" high water in the dark for over a mile and I knew I would have to do it. I prayed to God the whole way there for help. The moment i got to my street, a huge truck with very bright flood lights pulled up behind me and followed me the whole way in, so I could see. It was God.

I had a brand new car and had to have my kids drive me to the grocery store. 20 years later I drive around my town but have to have someone with me when I drive out of town. Anxiety and panic attacks are awful !

I am a noc med tech at a 19 bed facility, I work alone and since starting the noc shift my panic attacks and anxiety have increased. Because I am alone and I keep having the weight of all their souls on me in case of an emergency. So I understand the stress nursing put in you.

I'm in that exact situation right now. I'm a psychiatric nurse and work the weekends, but I don't have the business knowledge and courage like you do to be able to make it work to stay home with my babies. 😓

I love when you said “I watch Sarah” I’m over here totally in another world with only one child and I’m thinking “Hey girls! Love ya both!” I feel like we’re distant online friends (what a bizarre world we live in 😆)

I agree that the price per ounce at warehouse style stores typically doesn't work in my favor, for the items I purchase. Plus $.50 vs $7.00 each spice takes a big chunk of my budget. I can buy all the spices I need at $.50 each and not spend $7.00 that I would have spent for one giant container. Not everyone can spend $7.00 on each container of spices even if they go through them frequently. I stopped shopping at warehouse stores when I spent my entire grocery budget on 10 items.

I LOVE how you fight the hard stuff with the Bible!!! Yes!! Me too but this encourages me to keep doing it. The Lord wants us to go to Him first in those moments and I believe He grants us the grace and strength we need. ♥️ I love and appreciate your channel so much!

I am a Christian, I also have depression and ADHD which sometimes leads to anxiety. But, I find stating it takes away the shame and allows me to find ways to deal with it effectively. I also go to counseling- it has been a great help. I do not know why Christians say counseling is bad – that is Crazy ! If we are strong in The Lord nothing and no one can touch our Faith. Never have I had a counselor try to convince me my faith was worthless instead I believe it brought one closer to The Lord .
You are an incredible inspiration ❤

My kitchen was always the heart of our home. I only had 5 kids and didn't work until the older kids were old enough to babysit the younger ones. Of course they were all in school by that time. I was lucky to be able to spend those formative years with them.
