Here is Eric’s doe harvest https://youtu.be/EWuQYHozg_U
Venison/pork rub
Brown sugar 1/2 cup
Chili powder 2 tablespoons
Ground cumin 1 tablespoon
Smoked paprika 1 teaspoon
White pepper 1 teaspoon
Garlic powder 1 teaspoon
Onion powder 1 teaspoon
Black pepper 1-1 1/2 teaspoons
Seasalt 1 teaspoon or to taste
Thyme 1 teaspoon
mix and rub generously into meat
bottom of crock-pot
1 apple ( i used granny smith) use what you like
1 sweet onion
2 pablano peppers (i used Anaheim ones because they were out)
1 can of chili pepper in adob sauce
Liquid smoke 2 tablespoons
Garlic (freeze dried or fresh) 2 tablespoons or 2 cloves or to your liking
place meat on top of ingredients in crock-pot set on low for 4 hours if using venison I do 10 hours when using pork.
Once it’s done pull meat out and and pull it apart then use the rest as the base of the bbq sauce. (*note when doing it with pork I usually scoop out the veggies and fruit and discard the liquified fat).
Blend the base using a blender or emulsifier. You can add the rest before or after you blend it makes no difference.
Ketchup 1/2 cup
Vinegar 1/4-1/2 cup can be regular or apple cider again which ever you like
Worchestire sauce 2 tablespoons or so
Put stove on low and stir occasionally for about 30-45 minutes or until you are satisfied. Then add sauce to the meat or serve it separate.

Ribs on the grill bring pure joy to everyone in sight. We have good news: you can capture that smoky deliciousness from the grill even when don’t have a lot of time. Cook your ribs in a modern pressure cooker (such as an Instant Pot) and finish them off on the grill. We’re confident you’ll be impressed!
INSTANT POT GRILLED RIBS
1. For the Loin Back Ribs: Season ribs with all-purpose barbecue rub.
2. Place trivet in Instant Pot, add seasoned ribs and vegetable broth.
3. Close lid with pressure vent closed, set to Meat/Stew. Let cook 25 minutes, turn off and then allow pressure to naturally release.
4. Prep and preheat grill to medium-high heat for direct cooking.
5. Once naturally released, open Instant Pot lid and remove ribs to a tray.
6. Oil grill grates and place ribs on grill, meat side down. Brush with barbecue sauce, flip and brush other side with sauce. Close grill and cook 7-8 minutes until lacquered and slightly charred.
7. To serve: Remove ribs from grill and slice into portions.
Note: This recipe finishes on a gas grill but a charcoal grill may also be used. This recipe works with other rub and sauce flavors.

I love my Instant Pot so much I have two. This video shows my method of making BBQ Baked Beans. I have noticed two errors. First the Epicure Spice I have used is indeed French Onion. The other is in regards to the amount of splenda – I used 1/2 cup. Enjoy! See our facebook page too https://www.facebook.com/groups/trinasinstantpot/
