just as a note- if anyone in Australia does this- if you do it for 3 hours uncovered the ribs will be likely dried out given aussie ribs are far smaller than US ones. 2 hours- and at least cover with a bit of foil or mop with some liquid to prevent drying out

Okay i sent you a message earlier today that i was going to try this. Well here is my report. I want you to no that these ribs were the best i had ever cooked and i mean the best. The only thing i did was where you use creole and smoked paprika i used just plain paprika, no creole because i dont like that taste of it. And the barbecue sauce i used texas pete. And it was amazing. Thank you again for sharing your recipe and i look forward to more. ❤️🙏🏻

I made your recipe for the rub and then used my own for the sauce. Your rub made them PERFECT! I am in love with this rub creation of yours! Super super delicious!

I made pork ribs and did your rub, waited 10 minutes to allow the rub to set in. I put them onto a cookie sheet, and then I covered the ribs tightly with aluminum foil and placed the ribs into my 350 degree oven for 45 minutes. I removed the foil and then slathered my BBQ sauce onto them. I put the oven on broil/hi and cooked another 15 minutes to caramelize the sauce. Perfect! Note: I have a propane oven which takes longer to cook.

I just made this for dinner.
I didn't have Slap Ya Mama seasoning so I used Tony Chachere's Creole seasoning instead. And I didn't have the smoked paprika.
I did put the ribs in the oven for 3 hours and 350° as instructed.
I'm giving this 2/5, because when I tried it, it was not as juicy as I thought it would, and most of the meat was dried up which is not very enjoyable. It did tasted a little bit like beef somehow…
I do appreciate the video Island Vibe Cooking, but I believe that ribs (majority of the time) are not meant to be put in the oven. They're usually served best when they come off the slow cooker or pressure cooker.
