Yes you need egg yolks to make eggnog. In my opinion this is so easy to make that I think more people should be making their own eggnog instead of buying it.

    I'm going to try this in July. Surprise fireworks beverage. My alcohol limits are measured with an eye dropper so a small measure of rum is in the recipe. Thank you for the video !

    It definitely did taste like eggnog to me. It was good. The only thing I noticed is that it may have been a little too spiced for me and most of the ground spices ended up being at the bottom of the jar and glass. But this recipe did make have a warm Christmas feeling and I did not feel the need to dump it and buy the stuff from the grocery store. So overall it was a pretty good recipe:)
