That looks good the roomie keeps asking for this and like you I never grew up eating or ever trying this meal both ways looked super good. Thanks for showing us 2 great ways to make a good meal. I have also found myself not leaving room for the pasta/rice which unless a gift you know you can just grab from your bulk thanks again!

I have not had this dish since elementary school in the 1960's, but it was always a favorite. I am definitely going to add this to my pantry. You have exceptional teaching skills: clear instructions, and great enunciation. Thank you for participating in this collaboration!

👑Jara, is there a guide showing how much water is needed for refreshing freeze dried foods in the Meals in a Jar? I never know how much would be needed. I’d like to experiment making my own meal ideas. Any help would be appreciated.

👑 i appreciate your meal in a jar videos. Although I have some freeze dried foods for emergencies i was really clueless about how to get the best use out of them, that is until i discovered Wicked Prepared. These meals in a jar are a lifesaver, however, I'm using mylar nags instead of jars. I live in a forest mountain area and if we have to evacuate jars wouldn't be practical for me but i can cram a lot of mylar bags into a tote. Thank you. 👑 👑 👑 ❤

Memories of childhood. If we had any leftovers, it was ala king the next day. Turkey ala king, chicken ala king or SOS. (SH!+ on a shingle) as dubbed by our military. Served on toast. Total comfort food.

It's been a long time since I had Chicken a la King. This looks good, although the second version is closer to what I remember. Thanks for participating on this collab (as well as all of the othets) and for the great ideas!
BTW, I got that Betty Crocker cookbook as a birthday gift when I was a junior in high school (1969) and I still have it! 👑
