I feel badly for those who gain weight on fruit. I am 95% frugivore and primarily raw and cannot gain weight on fruit. There are some days I have to consume 3k calories days to maintain my weight. I have never felt better. I have battled obesity for almost my entire life and could not imagine not being able to eat as much fruit as I want. Great video with great advice.

I love the video Kate. Your honesty is refreshing. I was concerned when you got so lean. I’m glad to see you looking healthier and you look even more amazing than you did before. I love your channel and you continue to inspire me.

Thanks for the video beautiful, lovely and gorgeous Kate and sharing your experience on a Wfpb diet and how you have maintained your weight. It was unfortunate that you got Covid and it's good you have recovered which according to a recent study those who are on vegan diets reduced symptoms of the virus by 73% and pescatariains it was reduced by 59% and those on keto diets and meat heavy diets suffered the most severe symptoms so diet certainly can help you have a more effective immune system especially if it's vegan whole plant foods based. Love 🥰the video and love 💕Kate.

This was a fantastic video. Can totally relate to the extreme hunger when my weight dips too low, or when I try to maintain too low a weight by overdoing low calorie dense foods. When I get to those too low weights, my hunger feels insatiable, despite being stuffed full of whole plant foods. I just have to go through it and eat until fully satiated on whole healthy foods, even if satiation sometimes doesn’t arrive until after I’m stuffed. I wait for my weight and hunger drive to level off which it eventually truly does. Hard process though…so good to hear you share about this. Thanks for your vulnerability.

Great video as always, I have been between 21.5 BMI and 24 BMI, I have tried to control my weight and I thought I was doing good and I went in I was at 24 BMI, other times I thought I was not doing so good and my BMI was at 22, so sometimes its hard to control, so I stopped. You're right on the always feeling cold, after I lost weight when it gets to be in the 40-50 range I start to get cold nothing warms me up even blasting the heat in my car, everybody is hot in the car, and I am just trying to get warm and it lasts for 6 months or until it warms up again. this past summer it was very hot 100+ degrees and my body loved it, it felt like the sun was thawing my bones, before I lost weight I never had this problem. PS: My thyroid tested fine.

I have had to eat very low fiber for 3 days before my colonoscopy and never have I appreciated veggies and fruit so much! I don’t know how people eat low fiber! So boring and it is not satisfying at all! Can’t wait till Wednesday afternoon!

You are amazing! And you look truly amazing! Your story sounds so familiar to me! I, too, lost sooo much weight when I transitioned (February 2020) without even trying. I just stumbled upon the whole food plant-based lifestyle mainly for just overall health reasons. Before my journey, my BMI was at about 19.3 and then I got as low as 16.9 and boy was I ALWAYS cold (and I used to always run HOT). I, too, have gained weight since then and now I am at 18.6…which is at the lower end of a healthy range. And I feel great!!! Thank you for sharing your life with us! I always look forward to your posts!

Hi Kate, thank you for being so open about your personal experience, you look lovely, glad your hunger/fullness stabilised naturally at your desired weight, it might not work for people with emotional overeating issues. However being on a WFPB diet leaves you so satisfied that I don't have cravings anymore and rarely think about food between meals, you're right about eating (potatoes!), not overly restricting and losing weight slowly, it works! Glad you recovered from Covid
