    Sir,

I made this yesterday. I modified the recipe and method a bit, replacing the beans galore with just the alubias rojas (red kidney beans, I guess) I just happened to have, and since they tend to break up a bit, I left the thickener-part out. I the fish I used was bacalao, for it was on offer at local. The end result was phenomenal. Great recipe.

Thank you for this. Cheers from Costa Blanca.

You had me at seafood! 😋 But what was a pleasant surprise was using the reserved beans as a thickener, instead of corn starch. I am so gonna have to try this. I'm always looking to expand my palate, my knowledge of healthy recipes from around the world, because seriously, the human body was not meant to digest stuff from Burger King or McDonald's. And soul food that's also healthy is a big plus. 😁😁

Looks so good and comforting! I was going to buy some fish today and now have this recipe in mind. Plus, it is going to be freezing outside today in the New Jersey area. Perfect day for some soup. Thank you so much! Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a Prosperous New Year 2023!

You had me at "super easy Clean up" . Under 30 min. was the cherry on top. Tourtière is our traditional Christmas Eve meal but this fish stew will definitely be on the menu after Christmas. Merry Christmas.
