I have a Ninja Foodie 8 qt that I bought months ago and have used it twice, once for air frying and once for cooking a prime rib. I guess I am one wierd old lady because I hate it with a passion. I keep pulling out my slow cooker to use. I haven't tried pressure cooking anything because I don't have anywhere to put the Ninja to vent without it going all over my cabinets. It is so big and takes up valuable counter real estate. Every night I look at that thing sitting on my counter and think what a waste of money. Tried to give it to my sister and she would not take it because she had one and also hated it so she gave it to her daughter. I have spent hours watching Ninja Foodie Youtube videos hoping I would get bitten by the love bug like so many have but no such luck. I finally have decided that it is going to Goodwill so I can get my counter space back.

I save all the scraps from carrots, onions, celery, Swiss chard spines, parsley stems, and the like. I do not save cruciferous scraps as they have too strong of a flavor. I keep everything in the freezer until I have 2 ziplock gallon bags full, then I make vegetable broth. Adding in black peppercorns, bay leaves, and coriander seeds. I use to freeze the broth, BUT now that I purchased a pressure canner I was excited to can vegetable broth last weekend🎉 Life is good! 😇

You really got my attention when you said that this appliance replaced several others. Although our kitchen is massive, we actually have NINE doors in there, not leaving a lot of wall space for cabinets. Old farmhouses have these quirks! I think I need a Ninja Foodie to free up some space!
