Mmm I love couscous and quinoa! Couscous is basically a tiny pasta, so very neutral. Quinoa is from a flowering plant and delicious to me. Slightly nutty n earthy and almost sweet but not 🤣 I hope you enjoy both Debbie 🥰

Your grocery hauls are so much fun. So many things I buy too and then there are the items you are not afraid to try. Gets me thinking I need to loosen up and try something different!!

The village I live in is in the middle of nowhere, we're 56 miles from Rochester and 52 miles from Buffalo so we're used to driving distance if we want something our local stores don't have.
But buying things online, especially since the beginning of last year has been a Godsend

I love shrimp but cannot cook it here at home.
My daughter is deathly allergic to shellfish.
People say and think if she doesn't eat it she'll be fine WRONG, people who have shellfish allergies can have an allergic reaction if they're in the vicinity of it cooking, the vapors or steam releases the substance they're sensitive to into the air and by them breathing those vapors in it can cause an immediate respiratory reaction.
Just like anything released in steam the particles settle throughout your home onto surfaces she might touch.
So I have to settle for eating shrimp in restaurants which usually are terrible and rubbery.
I was born in NC was there until I was 11 and we used to drive out to the pier on weekends where my Dad bought bushels of shrimp or oysters and fresh fish.
    I loved those times.
But for my daughter I'll give up anything to keep her safe
