I take a very small amount, and let the debaters debate.
I really enjoyed this presentation. Dr. Dina explains things so well. So helpful! Thank you for having him on, Chef AJ!

It’s interesting that Dr. Klapper ate the “right” way and still found his Omega 3 levels sinking lower and lower despite eating the right way. He now takes a supplement. I’d love to see research showing that only rations matter, not absolute levels. Brain specialists such as the Sherzai docs do recommend at least 250 mg of marine algae sourced DHA supplements per day. (P 88-89 of their book The Alzheimer’s solution.) There are other issues as well. There are many beneficial compounds in nuts and seeds which fight cancer and also help with hormone production. While I respect the doctor here, it’s important to acknowledge that there is disagreement among professionals that people can get all the healthy fats they need simply from greens.
Now I have to go back and revisit doctor Klapper's videos on this topic and try to resolve their different assessments. Or at least from memory, my perception and recollection of different viewpoints.
Wish he would have addressed Dr. Furhman's views on this topic.
We need to acknowledge that we are all different. I was vegetarian for about 30 years and then vegan since 2012. When I went on wholefood plant based diet 12 months ago I became unwell. My herpes came out first time after over 10 years no showing, my psoriasis raised its ugly head again to the point of coming out on my eye lids, lips and lower face. I never had it so bad, it always flared up on my scalp and I was controlling it with dairy free, nuts free diet since I was a teenager. So I started to look closely at what my body was telling me and healthy grains harm me because they contain gluten. Big amounts of seeds harm me because I have herpes since I was a child. My psoriatic arthritis came out first time in my life because of amount of nuts and seeds I was eating. So finally after 12 months of research I know that I cannot touch gluten, no matter how healthy it’s source. I cannot eat big amounts of seeds so take omega 3 vegan oil which Dr Klapper recommends. I take lysine to keep my herpes in check and multivitamins with B12 and am finally ok. I get annoyed that many vegan doctors don’t acknowledge that healthy wholefood plant diet is not the solution for everyone. For those who are just starting on their healthy path, yes, it is the improvement. For others, who already are healthy and trying to do better in their older years, it needs individual tweaking. May I add that white potatoes are healthy! If they were not, the whole of Northern Europe would be struggling health wise. Boiled, steamed and baked, and not prepared the American way as fries.
Always appreciate Dr Dina's presentations on this topic 🙂 thank you so much <3

Thanks for your interest above near the beginning of the live chat in the Mastering Raw Food Nutrition curriculum! It is closer to $5K on average, and lower with our pay in full option. It's like getting a masters degree in nutrition for 1/4 the cost.
Love all this information and how Dr. Rick teaches.
I took a class with Dr Rick Dian when I was going to a Raw food chef school in California
