In the Caribbean growing up, Kellogg's Rice Krispies were expensive because they were imported so my mom would use good ole cornflakes instead of Rice Krispies and I loved them!
We call it cornflakes cake and it's so much crispier and gooier than Rice Krispies and less tooth-achingly sweet.
Not sure if we have Dandy's marshmallows in standard groceries, but I'll definitely try that trick of browning the butter + adding some whole marshmallows after.
Damn, now I really am craving cornflakes cake!

I only like enuf marshmallows to hold them together. Yours look like they have EXtra marshmallows. I think people like them for the crunch or the mallow. I wouldn't eat yours.
Miss maβam, how did you KNOW I just got 6+ boxes of Rice Krispie cereal and needed to make some treats this weekend?! I prefer the βdryβ Rice Krispies with less marshmallows too but Iβm sure the kids Iβm making them for wonβt π never heard of that brand of marshmallows here in Canada, but maybe Iβll check again.

If I can get my hands on a box of them, believe me they'll be gone within a couple days, cuz they're that doggone good! But I'll add this to my baking list once we get a new stovetop and oven.
