3:50 Urvashi, you are awesome and definitely NOT stupid! Looking at your Sept 2018 review and recently watched your newer Ninja review, it is a design flaw of this product, dare I say, to be so easily cause oil to leak out. Frankly, given other air fryers available now in Nov 2019, there is no way I waill buy an air fryer with this kind of design.

How do you make extra crispy air fryer chicken? Do you add bakjng powder in the flour? I have a cornish hen frozen. I know brio says you can cook from frozen, but this modrl does not have infra red heating that cook from inside out. So iam afraid of having raw chicken on thrninside with a frozen solid cornish gdme hen. Inknow i can check with anthermometer. What is your experience cooking frozen meats in the air fryers without infrared heating? It' not the same as frozen fries or fish sticks.

Hi Urvashi! I'm trying to make cleanup easier. I would love to be able to get the grease out without washing the main basket. Do you have any recommendations for a small shallow pan that could fit under metal cooking surface?
Since you have reviewed so many, I would like to know which air-fryer is your favorite?
Besides cleaning the basket, do you have to clean the fan area? BTW french fries and chicken wings can be put in frozen and come out just like deep fried without drying out. Love this fryer although I wish capacity was bigger! Being a Keto life style cook makes life soooo much easier. I use avocado or olive oil spray.
Be warned! I sprayed Pam in my fryer and I had to order a replacement rack! My Fryer is not even a year old. Spray on meat not on rack.

Last night my husband brought me home a Gourmia air fryer model GAF-680 from Costco. I think he said he paid $65. I found the same unit on Amazon for $89 and not on Prime so shipping cost is added. I used it for the first time this morning. I had a small zucchini I cut into sticks and seasoned/breaded, I thawed a few shrimp and breaded/seasoned them. I cooked them separately. Overall I was happy with the results. I didn’t have spray oil on hand so I added a little bit of oil to my egg white wash . I think the results would have been better if I had sprayed them with oil first.
Can I put Glass accessories inside to make any recipe ?? Thank you for your time.
What material is the metal touching the food … ceramic/carcinogenic??? teflon/carcinogenic ??? stamped steel/so so ?? stainless steel/ the safest??? How do you clean up ? Soap and water? Dishwasher safe?

You gave a very good and realistic overview of this model and general advice on air frying. I liked your quick -paced and informal pleasant style. It allowed you to cover a lot and gave a lot of helpful information on this model and this method of cooking in general since I am just jumping in to air frying myself.
I just picked up the slightly larger Gormia model tonight at Costco (rated 6 quarts) with a bit bigger basket for only $10 more than this model and both have very good reviews on Costco website.
