Hi Emily, lovely video and such an exciting update! As for the washing machine, have you thought about using a washing machine pedestal stand? It will help with the height and it comes in the same color and material of a washing machine.

My parents have a “creel” for drying clothes in our house – it’s like horizontal wooden bars that hang from the ceiling and you can lower it to put the clothes on! Would work well in your utility space 🙂

Love your videos! We had a 6 month build done that was completed last May. No kitchen for 3 months in the middle of lockdown! Was an experience to say the least. Very envious of your temporary kitchen, our builders weren’t so accommodating, wasn’t fun having no washing machine or sink. You quickly forget though, our house is completely different to how it was before and was worth all the pain along the way!
