Do you think the lethargy related to carbohydrate intake could be caused by leaky gut? I'm trying to reintroduce carbohydrates upon you and frank tufanos advice on iron overload but definitely feel much more lazy and hungry than I did with low carb, I also wake up with a sore belly everyday when I eat starchy carbs this doesn't happen when I consume fruit. I do have a large meal before bed as my work related routine only really allows me to eat at night time. I eat alot of raw kefir, sauerkraut and kimchi I also consume most animal foods raw or slightly cooked so don't think it's microbiome related. Do you have any advice on this varis ?

I very much enjoyed this great info! I'm healing my gut with the Carnivore diet, and this really inspired me to keep listening to my body. I have never enjoyed STEAKS, I'm not sure if that's more a European thing, as most of the American Carnivore community always go for ribeye and ground beef. I love Oxtail. it's the most nourishing and healing cut, and also Lamb neck in the pressure cooker creates the most healing stock……..thank you Varis, I'm very much looking forward to reading your work!

I really want to understand your reasoning behind the onions, carrots, and garlic. Don’t those have plant defense chemicals in them? Im hesitant about adding those back into my diet because every time i reintroduce spices or herbs i start to have stomach problems and diarrhea. Im really interested in your work though because i like hearing different opinions that go against what I previously thought was true.

Hey dude fantastic video I have a question for you, I have a back injury, do you think nutrition can make it heal faster? And if it can what foods do you recommend for a faster recovery thanks!

Wow you opened up my eyes to this cut!
I assumed it tasted like shit because it's so close to the cows butthole. Maybe that's where the impurities you speak of come from?

Also, I'm suprised you talk about vitamin contents in this food. Because the Vitamin E as well as the B vitamins are all heat sensitive and cooking for that long will remove these.

However it does draw out the gelatine, which would have really helped the Afghans recover from this sport.

3 years in carnivore diet, not a perfect one as I'm a binger 😬. My guts give me so much trouble, still… I feel better on meat soup. Need to try this, at least with the slow cooking as I don't have any other tool.
