I have made this recipe multiple times now and am enjoying experimenting with various seasonings to fit my husband's palate. Definitely better than paying for the Goya Yellow Rice box mixes!!

Do you ever have a problem with rice sticking to the bottom of your IP? Mine always sticks pretty badly to the bottom. I've even tried rinsing the rice first and that doesn't seem to make a difference.

add saffron to it. If you can find Badia spices in your store the saffron is usually about $5 only need a little, but that is what gives yellow rice its distinct flavor and color 🙂 adding tumeric though i think is a great idea just for the added benefits of it

It looks great! I have been wanting to try yellow rice, forever but I didn't want to make it from the package because of the salt content. I actually have a big batch in the pressure cooker as I type this. The only thing I didn't have was the bay leaf. I will get some when I shop. I need some anyway. We love rice, especially my son, so I hope he likes it. If he does, I will add it to our side dish rotation. As soon as its done and we try it, I will let you know! Thanks! BTW I LOVE the cooking videos. I am a pretty good cook, but I am always up for new ideas!

Yes I love that yellow rice too. My mom used to make it for my dad and I. Now I make it for my fam of 4😉 And I don’t know if I mention this before. But I’ve never had hamburger helper🤭 lol. I know krazy huh.
