Quarantine Cooking: Pressure Cooker Smoked Boston Butt Recipe – Today Paula’s pulling out her pressure cooker to cook up something that’s delicious and is …
Paula, use your liquid from your pot with white wine & garlic Italian seasoning. makes the best pork gravy in the world. I had a grown man lick his dinner plate clean.
I live by the pressure cooker.
Yes God has been so good God bless you all.
Apparently butts are named after the barrels pork used to be stored in around the time of the Revolutionary War; they were called butts. And the reason butts are often called Boston butts is because they were considered a New England specialty. Infrequently you see them called a shoulder butt
Maybe worth considering—
your new show name could be
“Paula Dean DabDarn Good Cookin’”. Love the shows! Keep cookin’.
Please give complete recipe don’t know what you put in with the onion. You leave out something in most of your dishes. Sorry just really want the whole recipe.
Lord have mercy! No legit Southerner would use liquid smoke. That's a sin.
We make mushroom soup gravy for pork rst.
Your home and Kitchen were absolutely beautiful, best wishes to you!

Wonderful!!! Why did Jamie move to Athens?
Paula, that is a pork shoulder sometimes called a Boston butt.
Was the kitchen you've been filming in at riverbend or dogwood? ?? Are you renovating the one with the kitchen?? Oh man I'm confused and gotta know!!! Someone help!
Congratulations Paula and Michael. Your Riverbend house was a beautiful place. I'm sure you'll enjoy this home too! Did you all see the video of shredding meat with a hand mixer on YouTube?
PS someone else said this too, You look beautiful today!😍🌈💗
First off, I do love me some Paula Deen. Always have, always will. But her definition of "downsizing" made me laugh. Dogwood is over 6,000 sq feet! I guess going from a 14,000 sq ft home to 6,000 is considered "downsizing" 🙂
Are you planning on a Deen Christmas special with all your family this year??

Years ago i just got thought cutting the yard,i was red hot.i had put some red beans on with some baking soda in the beans to take some gas out,I was passing by the stove when the safety value blew, red beans came out like a oil gusher, red beans went on the ceiling, wall, floor, freezer, cabinets, floor and counter, what a mess,it took me a couple hours to clean up.
Good for you!! Happy you get to enjoy those babies. Love that you are so real and just like the rest of us!! Can wait to see it all.
Love your cooking show
Congratulations!!! I loved Dogwood more!! It is a beautiful home to!
My husband and I have been married 38 years, and 4 years ago we “downsized” by selling our big two story house we lived in for 30 years and raised our children in. We built a one story house with walk in showers and rails so we can “age in place”. We are very happy, but Lordy, that was a job going through all the stuff you accrue over 38 years! But I am SO GLAD we did it! Best wishes my dear Paula!
Is this the kitchen you first started your show in?
