Awesome share! I canned red beans and sent a few pints with with rice with my daughter to college. She love it! I also gave a few pints to a friend who was under the weather. She claims that’s what made her start feeling better! This weekend, I’ll can a double batch! Thank you, as always!

Ohhh that beans and sausage looks delish….I may have to make some and can. I might have to make some venison sausage this year too or moose, out of our left over ground moose or deer meat . Thanks, great video. 🇨🇦💕

What a beautiful sweet potato harvest! That’s fantastic! We’re not warm enough to grow sweet potatoes here, but I love doing a sweet potato bar as a fun winter lunch. It’s one of the few produce items allow myself to purchase from afar because we all love them so much.

Walmart had their 8lb bags of pintos for $5.98 this week. I'm stocking up and pressure canning some myself. I'm surprised you had any rolls left–they look delicious! I have implemented a new thing in my kitchen. I don't know if you watch "Chopped" cooking show, but I now have a CHOPPED box of all the odds and ends I need to use up that month. It's kinda fun to figure out how to use up some weird things from the pantry.

Everything looks delicious! A productive day in the kitchen is hard work, but don't you feel so accomplished by the end of it? And I agree about the dirty dishes – keep loading the dishwasher and washing small batches of bowls, etc. to minimize the end-of-the-day mess. Good job, Audrey!

I’ve been working on cleaning out our freezer as well. My goal is to get most of our meat in the freezer canned. This weekend I canned corn relish and unstuffed pepper soup. On busy days, it’s a treat to be able to pull a jar off the shelf and heat and eat.
