Dee that looks so delicious… I may have to try it.
I know you're wanting a larger rig, it's understanding, but want to say I love what you've done with it, it looks so cozy and cute, everything is organized so well. I admire all the hard work you've done thru the years. I love your outside patio area, it's a wonderful set up you have. Thank you for sharing your "Po Folks Meal" with us. I'll be praying for the opportunity for you to get your next living rig, to enjoy your next chapter with your precious fur baby. I admire all the hard work you've done thru the years and everything you'd risen above, all the help you've given throughout the years, you're a inspiration, you deserve all the great things life has to offer. Have a beautiful and joyful Saturday.
God Bless & much love. 🙌💗

I really enjoy your videos on your cooking, managing your everyday life, and doing simple chores. It is relaxing and….somehow….it brings all of us closer together…..since we all have these same memories and tasks in our lives.

Hello sweet, Dee.😁 My friend, This would be the place you and I part ways. Lol. My father loved milk and crackers but he would have had to have shut them down my throat with his fist… I would not have been able to sustain that type of thing. I do however love poached eggs. And I agree lots and lots of pepper! Have a beautiful and blessed day. LUCRETIA 🇺🇸

Some mornings we'd wake up to a big pot of cocoa on the stove (no instant hot chocolate back then) and a big platter of toast to dunk in our cup of cocoa. Every so often, it would be CINNAMON toast. There were 6 of us kids.

We used to make bird's-nest eggs and toast. You cut out a hole in the center of the bread with a glass first. Then you put butter in a hot pan, add the cut piece of bread, and crack the egg in the center. Flip over halfway through cooking. It was really good.

Looks really good! I'm going to try it. My math isn't the greatest but with my calculations it was around a 1.00 for the ingredients (dollar general prices) 🙂 even with the high price of everything it was a pretty good inexpensive meal 😁

With the cost of eggs and butter, that is not a cheap meal anymore. No meal is.
A meal I would call 'Po Folks' breakfast which we more often ate for dinner was rice with milk and sugar. I still love it.
