Do you have any hints for those of us in other countries who can't get frozen hash brown potatoes? If we shredded potato, should we leave the skin on? Cook it first? Ta

I love this chef AJ! It's really a great idea. We don't get frozen hash browns here but guessing grating potatoes the same. Thanks for the tip to squeeze the liquid out too😊🐶😋

You are so helping me be a pure food plant based vegan instead of not knowing how to eat right. I am a five year in vegan so I did t know how to really adequately do it. Love this! Wendy🧚❤️🐞

I just tried this from scratch, shredded my potatoes😋 thank you for the idea! As I weighed my potatoes prior to putting in waffle iron, the calculation weighed more..does this mean the “lower” weight post frying is now lesser calories?

Trader Joe's hash browns are only potato, also. And, at least in Denver, they always keep them in stock unlike a lot of products that they rotate. They also work great as a base for creamy soups.
