Lets make some perfect fluffy red rice!
cover bottom of pan with oil ( I use olive oil)
sauté some onion and a couple garlic
add 2 cups of long grain rice
fry on a low heat, constantly stirring till toasted
blend and add
3 ripe tomatoes
1/4 onion
2 big garlic cloves
1 1/2-2 TBSP chicken bouillon
tsp ground cumin (optional) I don't always add
3 1/2 cups of water or chicken broth
pour and stir unto rice
add some pepper and toss in a piece of Chile Serrano or jalepeño (optional)
stir
bring to a boil
stir then cover and turn to low heart
cook for 25 minutes without uncovering lid
give a lil fluff and enjoy!
