Your daughters are all so beautiful. What is even more impressive is how poised, well spoken and confident they are. How lucky they are that you have taught them so many skills they will carry throughout their whole lives. You are also very lucky as their Mom, that they clearly love working by your side. Your making some wonderful memories! Enjoy your Holiday and blessings to you all in the coming New Year!

These are literally the best! My mom grew up having these and sneaking them from the freezer! Have you ever tried using maraschino cherries in the middle then the peanut butter rolled in chocolate? That's always how we made them. So amazing! 😋

I just made pb balls on Wednesday. Basically the same recipe. I did discover that the Wilton light chocolate candy melts are so much easier to work with for the coating. I melted the candy melts down and added a dribble of vegetable oil and the consistency was perfect. Plus non of the waxy taste from the gulf wax. Everyone in my family uses the wax except me. Just a little hint💚. But definitely thank you for another fun video.

We make a similar peanut butter ball, but use crushed up nutter butter cookies in the center with other ingredients (I need to get that recipe from my SIL!) and I don’t recall ever using the wax. Seems like we always just used chocolate…..I really need to get that recipe and make them this year!

My Mom made hundreds of these every year up to the Christmas before she passed away at the age of 80. She also made pecan balls, fudge, and coconut balls. She would give them to family, friends, and all of her neighbors. She was one amazing lady.

Here we make "Picnic" bliss balls that would probably taste similar. Picnics are an Aussie choc covered peanut , caramel bar. My hubby loves our healthy version and he's definitely not "crunchy". Pun intended. Lol.

    1 cup dry roasted cashews

    1/2 cup crushed peanuts

    6 tablespoons smooth peanut butter

    2 tablespoon honey*

    2 tablespoons maple syrup

3 tablespoons cacao or cocoa powder

1/2 teaspoon strong homemade vanilla extract

    pinch of salt

Place the ingredients into your processor and blend until the mixture is combined but still has lots of texture. Use your hands to press and shape the mixture into balls and place the balls into the fridge to set.

    Eat. Enjoy.

I used to have to make these all the time for my brother, he loved them. I like your recipe better, the one i used had me heating the butter, pwdr sugar and peanut butter in a sauce pan to combine, otherwise it's the same. They are so yummy.

when i first started making chocolate/peanut butter balls I did the chocolate/wax combo but then changed it in following years to just using chocolate wafers melted. No wax needed. My recipe calls for Graham cracker crumbs and Coconut flakes as well in the inside mixture. I am making some tomorrow! 🙂

I do something similar but I add some ground oatmeal (pulsed until fine crumbs in the food processor) to give the peanut butter mixture a texture similar to Reese peanut butter cups.

For Easter I form them into an egg shape and coat them in milk chocolate.

    Peanut Butter Fudge
    3 cups mini marshmallows
    3 cups sugar
    2/3 cup evaporated milk
    1 cup peanut butter
    1 and 1/2 sticks butter

Put marshmallows and peanut butter in a large bowl and set aside. Melt the butter, and then add the sugar and milk. Bring to a boil, and boil for 3 minutes. After 3 minutes, pour the mixture into the bowl with marshmallows and peanut butter. Mix well. Pour it into a buttered 9×13 dish and refrigerate until set. Enjoy!

OOOOh I love these! Just a quick adaptation when I did not have any wax: I used coconut oil! You do have to refrigerate or freeze but, if you like the flavor of coconut, it is a nice substitute for the wax. Yummy! Oh, love seeing those hot pads in use!! : )

I was today old learning that gulf wax is used in actual food recipes. LOL I grew up using it to seal our jams and jellies but was unaware it's edible. Thank you so much for this recipe.

We have been making these for years but with slight variations. We use half the wax. And mix the chocolate half semi sweet and half milk and we chill or even freeze the balls then use tooth picks to dip. After pulling the tooth pick out We go back and put a drop of the chocolate to cover the hole. Bright blessing. I have the dough started for the braided bread. Thank you for sharing your recipes.

I keep waiting to see if Tabatha is going to help in the kitchen. Does she not enjoy that? Your family is lovely and you are so blessed. I have one daughter and she enjoys making certain family recipes as well. She's been working in the kitchen with me since she was little on a stool. ❤

I have made these but with a twist. After rolling balls, flatten in you palm, put maraschino cherry with stem bring cookie dough up and around stem, then use stem to dunk into chocolate. Sooo good 👍
