I made something similar without the bacon the other night. I'm on keto losing weight, so i used skinny noodles. God i miss pasta 😆
A tip from this fat NY Italian, take a couple of raw egg yolk, remove it from the heat, and mix them in at the end; it will make it very creamy like a carbonara.
