    Hi!

    About oates…

It´s really easy to make your own oatmilk to. Take 1.5dl of oates and 1-1.5 liters of water (I am swedish that´s why it´s dl and liters 😄), soaking it over night is optional , ad a pince of salt and a splash of a neutral oil and blend. Run it trough a siv and store in the fridge up to a week It might separate when stored but just shake the bottle. It can be flavored to.
If you add back some of the oat that are left in the siv to a small amount of your oatmilk you can use the mixture to thickening a sauce.

Oh, never bin the oats in the siv, eat it, put it in a soup, a dough or use it when you make oatmeal.

I love canned corn for a black bean and tomato fresh salsa- if you have cilantro or basil with a drop of evoo + balsalmic V it is delicious on chips. I have even used canned tomatoes in a pinch. Everything is so nice and organized- I wish I had half this space!! Thank you for all of these recipes!

just browsing around today and found this video–had to hit the subscribe button–great pantry tour. Informative and useful. I would love to see some pantry cooking recipes. Maybe you could come up with a soup recipe using the store bought jars of alfredo sauce? I love the stuff, but need more than just a pasta recipe. Think that would be possible? Anyway, thanks, and I look forward to watching your videos.

Yellow Rice. Just add turmeric to rice. And add raisins. We call this Yellow Rice in South Africa.

Sweet potatoe curry with lentils. With coconut cream. I love basmati rice and curry. I make my own Roti.

I pressure canned pulled pork from a Ball recipe book and was happy with it. I'd be interested in your granola and granola bar recipes. Also, I'm wondering about inventory and keeping track of that. I don't have a real pantry so I use a linen closet and several bedroom closets and also canning shelves my husband put in the basement. Plus several freezers. I'm really organized but don't have any of the quantities written down and don't know what the best way of doing that would be. Also it sounds like a huge project and I'm not sure how useful it would be.

Sugar can be stored in large glass jars from Walmart . Bay leaves keeps bugs away . Throw a few on shelves . Pasta could go all in a bin on the floor Rubbermaid , with bay leaves to keep bugs out. Oatmeal in glass jars . Flours, pats, pasta all need to be removed from cardboard which brings bugs .

I rinse the canned pork really well with extremely hot water. Then it becomes part of a delicious noodle dish. Red beans and rice is a great meal. You can also cut pasta dough with a fork.

Any pantry shelf cooking videos would make would be great. I'm going to start canning so videos on what you make using home canned items would be nice to give ideas of what to do make once I can items or even give ideas of things to can so I can make the recipes.

Great video…thanks for the tour! You gave me some great ideas, especially using canned potatoes for quick mashed potatoes or baked potato soup (which I make all the time)

I didn't love the canned pulled pork either. But then, I found a recipe for tortilla soup using a jar of salsa as the base along with a can of broth and a can of corn. I added the pork to that. It was very good. I probably won't buy the pork again but that's my plan for using it up.

Wow I was just thinking 🤔 about this the other day and looking in my prepper pantry. Looking and thinking what meals could I make with what I have . I'm in Western Australia 🇦🇺 so we do eat different stuff but the ideas are great. Thanks 😊💐
