    Damn girl, this was AMAZING!!! I marinated for 12 hours, cooked for 2 on the stove in a covered cast iron pot. Skipped the last step and still came out great. I video chatted my mom to show her (we're Dominican) and she was amazed. I told her about you and gave you total credit.

    Love Rabooooo. I love making Oxtails with Bolitas de Platano, Jamaican/Puerto Rican Style. I season my oxtails with Jamaican Spices and Molasses for that rich dark color. My Sofrito is Spicy though. Great, now I'm hungry now… ha

    Just made this for tonight’s dinner following your recipe. My first time EVER making oxtails and I surprised myself… it came out AMAZING! I did add just a pinch of cinnamon which my Puerto Rican Godmother said is her secret ingredient when it comes to her oxtails. I found it weird at first, I wonder how many other people actually do that.. but I trusted her because her oxtails are the best! Thank you so much chef zee, I’m always watching your videos for guidance in the kitchen!

    Making this right now except I smoke the oxtails on my Traeger for 2 1/2 hours first, then bake them in my braising liquid in the oven for another 3 hours. I also season the oxtails overnight before hand.

    Took me 3 times to get it right ! BUT TONIGHT I FINALLY GOT IT ! Twice I put in the the instant pot and I didn’t like it but my family did I think the instant pot gives it a strange taste. Not today I did it on the stove and OMG SERIOUSLY SO GOOD SO SO GOOD ! Only thing different I did I add sorfito to it.
