After using some of the produce during the week, are you going to order again? I had previously looked at this company online and decided not to order as I was afraid I would get a lot of items my family wouldn't like to eat.

Well it can be fun to try something new, for one time anyway! I was glad to see an honest review and what it looked like "in person"…..and like some others have said, it was good to see you give a review when you aren't sponsored by them. Thanks for sharing that,I may rethink ordering from them! I'm a little surprised it came from so far off. Hope you got some good use out of some of the produce!

Thank you for sharing this. I attempted to put in my first order with Misfits just last week. I kept getting sent back to a different screen and was never able to complete the order so I cancelled my subscription. I would have been very disappointed to receive a box in the condition yours was in. Now I'm glad I didn't actually order from them.

    Hello my sweet friend!
I live out in the sticks. They do not service my area. Lol. If they ever do I need to remember this honest review.
Other YouTube channels show the produce like it's almost perfect. 😬
Maybe uts the difference between being sponsored or not.
Dont throw the tomatoes out. I dice tomatoes when they start getting mushy for cooking meals that use diced tomatoes. If it is rotten throw it out but if it's just over ripe.and going bad than dicd them and freeze them.
Not sure I would have been happy with that box either if that makes you feel better.
Tim made me laugh when he talked about something being under the Big Mac. Lol. 😂🤣
Red cabbage sauteed in bacon grease, onion, garlic is delicious. And of course bacon in it as well. 😁😁
Hope you had a wonderful and blessed week you two.
    Hugs. ❤😘

Been using them for about a month. This past week was very bad from them, but I just got my box today and it was fantastic again.

Contact them, they will refund you. I hope if you try again, you will be as happy as I was with it.

I had a similar experience with my one attempt with Imperfect foods – bruised items, already deteriorating items, poor packaging choices, etc. That’s why it was my only expensive attempt. So I would have reacted much the same and appreciated your honesty. Thanks for sharing.

I really appreciate your honest review of this company! All the other reviews I’ve seen have been outstanding reviews that have been sponsored. That’s too bad yours was like it was. My 7 yr old grandson could eat more than those 2 little red potatoes. If I was them I would of been embarrassed to put 2 little potatoes in someone’s box. I realize they’re imperfect or ugly but rotten & only 1 or 2 of something for the price they charge is not right! It looks like they don’t have any quality control before things go out the door? They don’t deliver to my area anyway. But now after seeing yours, I wouldn’t do it, even if they did!😒 Thanks Stacy! Have a great weekend!😊💜

I'd be disappointed as well. Not sure what you paid, so that would factor into how sad I'd feel about this box. I think that more clarity in the ordering process (as to amounts) and more careful packaging, could have helped the situation for you. You might consider sharing that with the company? I'm sure you'll come up with some lovely meals regardless.

Ick! 😬 I like picking my own produce & that’s one of the main reasons I like to go to the grocery myself, rather than click list, etc. I would not be on board with a box service like that. Just the idea gives me the willies 😂😀 I’m glad you were able to use some of it.

Wow thanks for sharing! I had seen a similar delivery service on shark tank and had wondered how they worked. I’ll stick with my instacart shoppers who I’ve always had good luck with since I rarely go to the grocery. lol
I’ve been down for the count for a few weeks from the first Covid vaccine. It flared up my POTS really bad for some reason. I’m on the mend finally. Hopefully the second one with be better.
Did you find something to do with your 2 potatoes? Lol. The tomatoes looked pretty good but what an overall sad box they sent you. I’m glad you guys were able to show it though.

I tried this as well. First two boxes were fine. Third box all my greens were bad, fourth time my oranges and pears were moldy and they gave me fennel instead of Swiss chard. I contacted them and they refunded half my box both times. I won't be getting anymore boxes. I hate when things are disappointing.

Interesting box to say the least….I guess you can cut up your red potatoes and mix em with a few of your fingerlings and roast them perhaps. I'll be looking foward to seeing how you use all these misfits!

I get Misfits. You can email them and let them know which products are moldy and such. They will refund a portion of your money. Sometimes the boxes are a bit of a disappointment 😩

Hi Stacy and Tim. That box was so badly packed even for a box of veggies and fruit called misfits. And to have some of the fruit bad or squashed. I'd be asking for my money back. I hope it wasn't to expensive. Happy day from Sally and the fur crew! 😊💗💗

Oh no!!! Sorry your box didn't live up to your expectations. I couldn't help but laugh when you went on and on about the two lonely red potatoes, lol. That's why I don't like insta cart and ordering groceries online. I can't trust anyone but me to pick out the best produce. Have a great rest of the week.

Oh, wow, Stacy…three and half days to reach you! And then everything thrown together in a hodge podge. I think I would have been very disappointed, too. That was a big turn off to see everything wet, and some of the things were already spoiled. And they didn't even put the onions in a bag separate from the fruit! Thank you for the review because their ad has come up on my FB newstream and I was curious. You're right: you do much better buying local and making your own selections.

I would definitely be disappointed with what you got. Like you said some looked good but those bad looking oranges ☹️ I mix potato types and cook together all the time. I just cut them so they are about the same size so they cook for the same time. Loved Tim’s tomatoe story. Reminded me of my Dad’s many Korea stories. He always talked about green moldy bologna that they would get and they would just take the mold off and eat it. 🤢

Not impressed…was going to do this until a local opened a fresh produce store next to my home. I have seen better produce boxes from Misfits than you got. Guess I would of chopped the two potatoes up for some hashbrowns..

I, also subscribed and I cancelled after three deliveries. I wanted to support the concept, but the inconsistent amounts were too frustrating. My last box, and my last "straw" — a box which was over half full with beets. I like beets but that amount was insane!
