No one likes emptying their RV toilet. Dealing with black tank odors and regulating the water used for flushing is a pain. But the …
Mike your comment about the Canada fires is insensitive. I live in the western US and deal with wildfire smoke and destruction every year. Believe me, wildfires are not simple.
At first I thought you were joking but apparently not… Do you really blame the Canadian firefighters because they are not fast enough, or because there are not enough of them? Could the giant wildfires be caused by climate change? And could it be that part of the climate change is due to people who don't seem to care about burning thousands of gallons of fuel for their own enjoyment in their RV?… And you still blame the Canadian firefighters…
I use a defunct portable toilet, 8 gallon trash bags and pine bedding pellets. Works great and cheap.
my thoughts on replacing a traditional RV toilet would be to add a gate valve and turn the black tank into a gray tank like most people do when they converted over to a composting toilet.
The toilet sounds easy and nice to use for a carefree consumer however, I wonder about the waste. A 25 flush foil wrapped non-biodegradable package carelessly going to a landfill seems environmentally irresponsible to those concerned with sustainable living. A composting or incineration toilet seems a more natural option. We are to tread lightly on the earth…
We have a folding toilet with the bags (with absorbent pads). It folds up great, and we just use it where we don't have the space.
Excellent product review. I just told my wife that I put a toilet in my Amazon wishlist for Christmas. Hmm…I never thought I’d be typing those words. Anyway, thanks for a great solution for a problem we’re facing for our future RV of choice, the Newmar Canyon Star toy hauler.👍🏼😎
I will not be following you anymore. I’m a proud Canadian and we are trying very hard to put out the fires we have multiple countries helping .
Thank you for reviewing the electric toilet. Please also investigate the INCINERATOR toilet so popular in Europe.
Though pricy, I gotta say, this toilet would be great for boondockers, especially; reduced weight and water worries while off grid. Mike and Jen, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Y'all Be Safe!
It's Scottish!!! 46:49
"cairn" is pronounced "carn"
I checked out this waterless toilet. It looks great, however, after checking out the cost of the cartridges I think they’re pretty expensive.
Toilet's system is interesting, but that foil seems to generate more permanent waste. More pollution…. don't we have enough?
Mike, I'm loving the new format of the VLOG! That toilet is impressive. We are going to get one for our boat.
I like the Laveo but the cartridges take up space and would seem to be expensive to operate. I’d opt for an OGO composting toilet for longer off-grid time. The Laveo is really cool though and I may get one in my Embassy SL or Cape Cod. Thanks for the Embassy tour by the way.
You sure are ignorant when it comes to forest fires!!!
Mylar is not bio degradeable ?????
We’ve been using a Laveo in our Embassy Dolphin for almost a year and like it very much. No black tank for us!
I have a no water toilet. It’s a five gallon bucket and commode bags 😉.
Lol good old Elkhart. Lived there for 50 years. Moved to get away from Elkhart air pollution and ground superfund sites.
Good one at 14:18, "One of the doodies 💩 I took on" 🤣

in this system you are still placing the end product in a landfill?
As a retired RV Sales person, that last worked in Minnesota, I can tell you that most RV'ers in Minnesota have known about this dry flush toilet for years. Why?? Because it has been in Fish Houses for a LONG time. Think about it, camping on a lake in the winter time. ??? : )
